1. a lot of/lots of
這對(duì)詞組通常別在academic essay中出現(xiàn)，考官因?yàn)橐芽礋┝?。能夠換成A considerable number of來代替它們。
例如：There are a lot of books in the library.
There are a considerable number of books in the library.
2. Recently
這個(gè)詞不好，按照專家的說法事實(shí)上即是too imprecise,不存在一個(gè)具體的時(shí)間。可以用 in the last five years…/since…代替。
例如：Recently, many foreigners came to China.
3.There is a survey……
專家一般會(huì)這么說: Has there been?相當(dāng)于是說考官清楚這些全部是你編的，一般不要用了。
例如：There is a survey on this problem.
4.And, but
這三個(gè)詞大家經(jīng)常使用到。事實(shí)上一般使用in addition。
例如：And another three students come from Shanghai.
5.No one can deny that…/Undoubtedly
這2個(gè)詞組用來開頭并不合適。事實(shí)上每一個(gè)人都是可以保持和你意見相反的態(tài)度。
例如：Undoubtedly, everyone knows it is true.
6.In my opinion, I agree/disagree with this
這是多余的表達(dá)。When stating your opinion you follow with a fact 相信大家都能看懂，便不會(huì)翻譯了。
例如：In my opinion, we should do this job at once.
7.Nowadays
理由與2基本相同, 這個(gè)詞使用在文章里顯得過于普通了, 專家的原話是it does not mean very much。
例如：Nowadays, more and more students go abroad to seek better education.
8.不能用vivid 來形容world，vivid能夠用來表示memories或者是dream之類的。
9.It is a well known fact…一般不要用, 有的考官可能會(huì)扣分。
不不可以使用來形容delicious, gorgeous and huge。
11.雅思寫作文章里一定不可以使用縮寫, 例如I’m，在考場上千萬別犯懶，在平日也不要縮寫，多多注意養(yǎng)成良好的習(xí)慣。
